Your Role as a Family Day Care Field Compliance Officer
As our Family Day Care Field Compliance and Support Officer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our Family Day Care Educators meet the highest standards of education and care. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and assess educational practices against the National Quality Framework, leading the charge in creating engaging, safe, and nurturing environments for children.
In this role, you will cultivate a collaborative culture among Educators, establishing clear goals for teaching and learning. You will support their professional needs, guiding them towards compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, while fostering an atmosphere of reflection, affirmation, and challenge in their educational practice.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and has a flair for leadership. The ideal candidate will not only bring their expertise in compliance but also a desire to uplift and inspire those around them.
If you possess the following qualifications and attributes, we would love to hear from you:
- Diploma qualifications or equivalent in early childhood education.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector, with a focus on compliance.
- Strong understanding of child development, regulatory frameworks, and Family Assistance Law.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Hold a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People’s Registration.
As a confident communicator, you will be adept at conflict resolution and possess exemplary organisational skills. Your proficiency in technology will aid in maintaining accurate documentation and facilitating communication with Educators and families alike.
